The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside crib that allows parents to sleep with their infant while making sure they're safe. Its smooth gliding motion is able to ease your baby back to sleep. Its innovative features allow you to keep an eye on them without leaving your own bed.
The sliding side panel of the crib can be raised and lowered with a simple pressing of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby at night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that allow it to fit the mattress of almost any size bed and it comes with adjustable feet that fold down to ensure that it is at the right height.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is great for babies, it won't last long after your little one turns six months old, and you'll need to invest in a bigger cot. Overall, Roanna thought that the Joie Roomie Glide crib was an excellent purchase. She liked its sleek design.
John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for a cot. She was pleased with the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its grey color would fit most modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can create an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure a good night's rest. It has a drop side rail that is easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to disturb your little one or get them out of bed it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight, making it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.
We love the fact that it's made of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It is available in charcoal or oak with a range of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. travel cot bedside found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or support number if you run into any problems.
The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally there is an inclined feature that can be used to aid babies suffering from reflux or congestion. It's also machine-washable, which is a necessity with all the dribble, vomit and snot that come with having a newborn!
The CoZee is a great option for keeping your child close during their first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension kit, it can be converted into an actual bed. While it isn't able to feed your baby, or magically sleep them it will gently rock them and send them off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel thanks to the new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.
Our testers were impressed with the simple access the side panel provides, which can be lowered and raised with just one push of a button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds because it meant they could easily reach in and pick up their baby without disturbing them.
It is possible to lower the side panel by it's own, however this is not recommended because it increases the chance that your child could be thrown out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed properly. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent nighttime feedings.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers, thanks to the telescopic legs. It also comes with an option to tilt to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely large and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers even with the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It's small enough to be able to fit into its travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only thing our test subjects found was that the side panel didn't flex as much compared to other models. This made it a bit harder to observe your baby from the bed.
The Shnuggle Air
The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice if you want an infant crib that will grow with your child. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed, but can also convert into a stylish cot when your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding your baby at night and for strengthening your bond with your baby.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other models. The mesh side panels with dual-view and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool. A gentle incline option helps to reduce colic and reflux while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby during the night.
The kit for converting cots is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you need. It took us about an hour to assemble and was relatively simple. The only issue with the instructions was that some images were not captioned. This made it difficult to follow the instructions. Overall, the procedure was easy and the materials used were of top quality.
In the co-sleeping position, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section because it lets them easily reach out to their newborn to feed and comfort them without having to leave their bed. It's ideal for parents who don't want the stress of putting their child in a traditional cot, or even getting them out of it.
During our testing, we found the gliding motion of this next-to-me crib to be especially useful in helping babies fall asleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a major selling point for our exhausted moms who took part in our tests.
